Established in 2008 by Mary and Andrew Arnold, DCFD embodies a passion for craftsmanship and a deep connection to the firefighting community. With Andrew's extensive experience as a firefighter in Washington, DC, and Mary's unwavering support, they've crafted a legacy of excellence in custom leather crafting.
Driven by their dedication, DCFD quickly gained recognition for its high-quality leather gear for firefighters. Despite facing adversity when Mary battled cancer, the couple temporarily closed the business to focus on her recovery.
Now, five years later, with Mary cancer-free, DCFD has emerged stronger. Andrew refined his skills by apprenticing with industry experts, enabling DCFD to boost production capacity and decrease turnaround times.
